When I changed my diet around, I quickly realized that the cocoa butter in chocolate was a big downfall for my weight loss. So I worked really hard to find ways to enjoy chocolate but also still lose weight. This chocolate sauce reminds me of what the river in Willy Wonka was filled with! I hope you enjoy!
Here it is used as a frosting on my quick and easy 5 ingredient Brekkie Cookies...
INGREDIENTS
1 tbsp Date Syrup
1 tsp Cocoa Powder
DIRECTIONS
Mix together in a small dish, it takes about a minute to come together.
Spread, drizzle, or dip!
NOTES: You can also use Maple Syrup or Agave! I love using maple syrup and dipping strawberries in it!
As seen below, I absolutely love using it on top of my smoothie bowls or nice cream! The base is just bananas and rice milk, topped with reconstituted PB2, hemp granola, and a brazil nut!
